We hope this message finds you well. We're reaching out to inform you about some important updates to our annual registration process for the 2024-25 school year.
Registration Opens Feb. 22 for New Students ONLY
Starting today, February 22, 2024, all new students to District 97 for the 2024-25 school year will be able to begin registration. This will include all students enrolling in kindergarten, as well as, new students in first through eighth grade.
Registration for all returning District 97 students opens March 5. A separate link and communication will be sent to families prior to that date.

KINDERGARTEN LIAISONS
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Wednesday: 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
(elementary students are dismissed early on Wednesdays so staff can take part in weekly meetings, planning and professional learning)
Students line up at 7:55 a.m. and enter the building at 8 a.m.

First Baptist: Before and after school; transportation provided (708-383-1190)
West Cook YMCA: Before and after school; transportation provided (708-434-0231)

The mandatory school fee for kindergarten is $180, which covers the cost of instructional materials, technology, supervision before school, after school and during lunch.
If your child is interested in participating in the district’s food service program, the daily fees are $1.75 for breakfast, $2.80 for lunch and $0.45 for milk.
Your child may qualify for free and reduced priced meals in conjunction with the National School Lunch Program. The application and requirements for this program will be made available on the district’s website over the summer. https://www.op97.org/business-office/food-service
